What is Skiersplanet?

Skiersplanet was built and developed in 2017 by a handful much regarded skiing enthusiast. As time passed the site had its ups and down, and now only one of the founding fathers remains at the helm of the site. Alongside are a handful of skiing enthusiast, who come across the skiing industry as either travel guides, instructors, travel journalists as well as former competitive skiers.

Skiersplanet operate on high alert in the months from October to March, where we report rigorously from the alpine world cup. We don’t care to much about trending keywords, articles, topics. Instead we strive to write about angles and stories which WE find to be interesting. Often the crooked angles on the competitive skiers, how the different teams approach their training and race days just as where are all the heroes from the past.

Being the skiing enthusiast as we are, we have developed a exhaustive review section where 100s of the very top skiing destination have been visited, described and judged. Our reviews are not influenced by fancy descriptions and untrue verdicts. 99% of all the ski resorts we review, have been visited at one time – if not this is explicitly stated on the post.

Who are we?

The staff behind skiersplanet is as diverse as any. As we are enthusiasts, and strive to cover the globe, so is our writing and tech people operating the site.
